Terms & Conditions
Version 2026-10-27 · Last updated 27 October 2026
- Nomadway is only an online booking platform. We do not run, supervise or insure any activity.
- Every adventure is run by an independent operator, who is fully responsible for the activity, its safety, equipment, staff and the service on the day.
- Adventure activities carry real risk. Check the age, weight and health rules for your activity, and follow the operator's safety instructions.
- Prices include applicable taxes. Cancellations and refunds follow our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
- We ask you to accept these terms and our Privacy Policy when you sign up and before every payment, and keep a record of it.
1. Nomadway is a booking platform
These terms are an agreement between you and Nomadway ("we", "us"), which runs the website nomadway.in and the Nomadway app. By creating an account, booking or using Nomadway, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Nomadway.
Nomadway is an online marketplace. We list adventure activities from independent, verified operators, show their prices and availability, take your payment on their behalf, send your ticket and help you if something goes wrong with your booking. The activity itself is a contract between you and the operator. Nomadway does not organise, conduct, own or control any activity, and does not employ the operators or their staff.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account and book. Children can join activities that allow them, booked by a parent or guardian who accepts these terms for them.
- Give correct details, especially your name, phone number and email, so we and the operator can reach you.
- Keep your login safe. You are responsible for bookings made from your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- You can delete your account at any time from your profile or the app. We keep booking and payment records as the law requires.
3. Listings and prices
- Descriptions, photos, inclusions, meeting points, age and weight limits and prices are provided by the operator. We check listings, but the operator is responsible for them being accurate and up to date.
- Prices are in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes. If a booking fee applies, it is shown separately before you pay.
- Prices can change, but a change never affects a booking you have already paid for.
4. Booking and payment
- Your booking is confirmed once your payment succeeds. Until then, your seats are held for a short time while you pay.
- Payments are processed by our payment partner (PhonePe). Nomadway does not see or store your card or UPI PIN.
- We collect the payment on behalf of the operator and pay them after the activity. You get a payment receipt by email right away, and a final tax invoice once the activity is completed.
- Your ticket has a QR code and two OTPs (start and complete). Share them only with the operator at the activity, when asked.
5. Cancellations, rescheduling and refunds
- How much you get back depends on how early you cancel. The exact rules are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy and are shown again before you pay and before you cancel.
- If the operator cancels, or the activity cannot run for safety or weather reasons, you get a full refund of what you paid.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method. The bank or UPI provider may take a few working days to show it.
- If you do not turn up, or arrive too late to join, the booking counts as a no-show and is not refunded.
6. On the day of your activity
- Reach the meeting point shown on your ticket on time, with ID.
- Follow the operator's briefing and safety instructions at all times.
- Some operators have their own terms for their activity, or may ask you to sign a consent or health declaration form at the site. We show these on the adventure page and in your booking emails. They apply in addition to these terms, between you and the operator.
- The operator may refuse to let you take part if they believe it is unsafe, for example if you do not meet the age, weight or health rules, or appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If this happens, contact Nomadway support and we will look at your case and arrange a refund where it is fair.
7. Health, fitness and risk
Adventure activities such as rafting, paragliding, bungee jumping, diving and trekking involve a real risk of injury. By booking, you confirm that you and everyone in your booking:
- are fit to take part and meet the age, weight and health rules for the activity;
- meet the "Before you book" rules shown for that adventure, including any medical certificate the operator asks for;
- have told the operator about any medical condition, pregnancy or injury that could matter;
- understand and accept the risks of the activity, and take part at your own risk.
Nomadway does not provide insurance. Check with the operator what insurance, if any, they provide, and consider your own travel or accident cover.
8. What Nomadway is and is not responsible for
Nomadway is responsible for running the platform, taking your payment securely, sending your ticket, processing refunds under our policy and helping you with problems about your booking.
Nomadway is not responsible for how the activity is run, or for any injury, illness, death, loss of or damage to belongings, delay, cancellation or other loss arising from the activity, the operator, their staff or equipment, the weather, travel to or from the meeting point, or any third party. Any claim about the activity itself is with the operator.
As far as the law allows, Nomadway is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Where we are found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the booking concerned. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer law that cannot be excluded.
9. Reviews and conduct
- Only customers with a completed booking can review it. Reviews must be honest and about your own experience.
- Do not post anything false, abusive or unlawful, or misuse Nomadway in any way. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
10. Your data
We share your name, phone number and booking details with the operator so they can run your activity. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and your rights.
11. Indemnity, content and third parties
- You agree to cover Nomadway for claims or losses caused by your breach of these terms or by your conduct during an activity.
- The Nomadway name, logo, website and app belong to us. Operators own their listing content and photos.
- Payments, maps, sign-in and messages use third-party services (such as PhonePe, Google and WhatsApp), which have their own terms.
12. Help, complaints and grievance officer
For anything about a booking, payment, refund or the platform, contact Nomadway support first: raise a request, email support@nomadway.in or call +91 77384 05598 (Sunday to Friday, 8 AM – 6 PM).
If you are not happy with our answer, write to our Grievance Officer, Pathikrit Mitra, at contact@nomadway.in. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hooghly, West Bengal have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission where you live.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version and date are shown at the top of this page. When they change, we ask you to accept the new version at your next booking. Bookings already made stay under the terms you accepted when you booked.
